2. John Wills (John Alexander ) was born on 27 Jul 1826 in Kingsbridge, Devon. He died on 1 Jan 1873 in Melbourne. He was buried in Old Melbourne Cemetry.

He was Master of the barque Sarah-Ann.

John married Bridget Glyn on 16 May 1853 in St. Mary's RC, Sydney. Bridget was born in 1832 in Ennis, County Clare, Ireland. She died on 1 Nov 1887 in Sunbury, Melbourne, Vic.

John and Bridget moved to Geelong shortly after they married.
In 1858, John is known to have sailed as the Mate on various sailing ships from the "Port of Geelong to Hobart Town and any port or ports of the Australian Colonies". (He was paid 8 pounds, compared with crew wages of 5 pounds at the time.) When he died, on 1 January 1873, the Australian noted that he was "for many years master of the barque Sarah Ann."
Bridget died of apoplexy in the Women's Lunatic Asylum in Sunbury in 1887.

John and Bridget had the following children:
