Got my self set up with a great little tender outfit.Took it for a test run today. Polycraft Tuff Tender 2016 and a new Yamaha 6hp four stroke.
It does about 10kph with 2 passemgers and planes at upto about 19kph with just me, but I provide a lot of ballast.

I live up in the Whitsundays and not having a tender is becoming a hassle. Does anyone have any ideas for a tender...
Something super light but holds up when beaching
I’d be getting a zodiac or something to tow so it’s light however have to be careful pulling it up the beach etc
I was looking at a zodiac... The heat up here kills inflatables and brainstorming on poly something. The extra weight though is making it complicated.
I use a kayak or an island inflatable boat with an outboard.
Did you have any trouble towing the inflatable around. Could you secure the kayak to the boat or just towed it?
The island inflatable is super light. I think that would be the go. cheers
I just tow both and use a bridle for the inflatable. Take the engine off if its windy and rough but Ive never had to.
2.6m is great for 2 people and reasonably lightweight.
I feel your pain. I have an inflatable and a tinnie but I can’t leave the inflatable near the mooring because the sun will kill it and the tinnie while indestructible take chunks of paint off the Deltacraft if I bump. But can you get a small inflatable you can keep at home?
I once thought about using a stand up paddle board, you can even buy inflatable ones
I was thinking inflatable kayak due to weight. See what I can find, lol.
I have a stand up paddle board an inflatable tender and a fibreglass dingy just depends how long I’m going out for depending what I take.
I've already got too many toys
I know the feeling

I'm like a kid at Christmas. New tender for Wine Down.
It looks awesome and with a 3.6 horse power you could practically take off!
Roll on Summer. I'll give it a test run next week.
What's the point if you can't have some new toys
Very nice, let us know how well it goes
Your right Jimmy. I have a 10 hour engine run in time. I might be putting around for a while. lol
After the 10 hours, it's the age old question "what will she do"
Makes it so much easier getting to shore
What did you do before
I normally use my kayak but it means i have to go back and get Robyn and the gear. I'll still use the kayak at times as its better for fishing.
Big improvement, when I first got my boat and no tender I used a boogie board and paddled out to the mooring
Now thats dedication.
And bloody cold
