New Duck Board

I'm in the Sydney area and we have a MK 2 Deltacraft.

I would like to source a new rear duck board/dive platform as ours is in desperate need of repair.

Would you know if that's something that would still be available?

Or am I looking at something custom made.

Your existing duckboard (Rosie says it is a landing!) appears to be much narrower than ours. We will send a photo on Sunday. We are also in Sydney and happy for you to have a look at ours. Whatever. .. suggest that you keep the old bits except the timber and re-use.

When I had my old girl, the duck board was pretty much in the same condition so I made my own and made it a little wider and varnished it all up. Certainly not hard to make and very satisfying!

I have a custom made one with a swim ladder. See the below photos.
General rule of thumb is they can’t be too big, like a veranda on your house, the bigger the better.

A replacement
Our wooden deck collapsed so we went for a custom made aluminium deck to the max width that we could fit & covered with marine carpet, as per the pictures below.
It works very well for regular access by foot, dinghy or canoe.
