Get yourself a gullsweep, they work very well and these hardtops are perfect for them.

Unfortunately I've lost 2 of them over the years. They were weighted down but not drilled into the roof. Whether it was theft, or wash from other boats I'm not sure.

Had them for 10+ years now. One clamped on bow railing with original clamp and one screwed on cockpit roof. 8 years in I had to replace the vanes. They take a beating when it blows. Had them bend in the wind couple times. Your most likely blew away in storm instead of bending.

Mine is screwed to the roof and is about 12 years old, I have had to change the veins a couple of times as they crack. Screw yours down next time or you can home make something similar that no one will steal.
